King of Glory

The Story

I awoke from sleep hearing the background melody (guitar picking) for this song.  It intrigued me…  I was also hearing the words and melody to the verses of this new song.  I lay in bed listening and then said, “Lord, I’m not sure I know how to play that.”  You see, I really didn’t want to get up just then, get my guitar and try to figure out the song.  After all, it was still dark!  

So I lay there and all the while I kept hearing the guitar picking, the melody of the song and the mood and message the song conveyed.  After listening to it for awhile, I suddenly exclaimed, “I think I know what that is!”  I got up, picked up my guitar and started playing.  I was so excited when I realized that I immediately played what I had been hearing!  

After writing out the song I went back to bed!
